Adaptive Adventures
Evergreen, Colorado - a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families through outdoor sports & recreation. The organization was created in 1999 by a group of physically challenged individuals who saw the need to increase awareness and participation in sports and recreation for the disabled. Adaptive cycling, water-skiing, and winter sports.
Adaptive Sports Association
Durango, Colorado - Adventures of a lifetime for people with physical and cognitive disabilities. Summer and Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, hiking, fishing, sailing, 4x4 adventures, canoeing. A non-profit organization.
Adaptive Sports Center (ASC)
Crested Butte, Colorado - a non-profit organization that provides year-round recreation activities for people with disabilities and their families.
Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC)
Breckenridge, Colorado - the BOEC was established in Breckenridge, Colorado, in 1976 as educational organization to provide outdoor experiences for people with disabilities and to train the instructors who work with special populations. A non-profit organization.
Challenge Aspen
Aspen, Colorado - Challenge Aspen at Snowmass located in the Roaring Fork Valley is a non-profit organization that provides recreational, arts and cultural experiences for individuals with mental or physical disabilities and their families and friends.
Disabled Sports USA
Offers nationwide sports rehabilitation programs to anyone with a permanent physical disability. Activities include winter skiing, water sports, summer and winter competitions, fitness and special sports events.
National Sports Center for the Disabled
Winter Park, Colorado - offering outdoor recreation opportunities to individuals with disabilities.
New England Handicapped Sports Association (NEHSA)
Newbury, New Hampshire - at Mount Sunapee Resort, offers adaptive ski and Snowboard lessons to people of all ages and all disabilities.
U.S. Adaptive Recreation Center
Big Bear Lake, California - works with schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and park and recreation departments to serve children and adults with all types of cognitive or physical disabilities.
