How To Get Here

Special Olympics

As with many non-profit organizations, CDA depends heavily on the generosity of individual, corporate, and grantor sponsorship to fulfill our mission. Thirty-nine percent of all revenues generated come from contributions and grant support while 21% is raised by program fee-for-service and the remaining 40% comes from fundraising events. Contributions can be directed toward specific areas such as scholarships, general operating expenses, programs, or the newly created Colorado Discover Ability Endowment Fund created to generate financial resources for equipment, scholarships, and program operating expenses.

CDA In The News... Photo Albums

CDA's motto is "Life is Not a Spectator Sport". Time and again, staff and volunteers at CDA are given the tremendous honor of looking into the eyes of individuals who have been given a chance to experience something new and exciting that can possibly change their lives and at a minimum provide them with memories that will last their lifetime. To make this possible, it requires a partnership: clients provide the courage and determination; CDA provides the equipment, instruction, and support; and the community provides financial support from individuals, corporations, and granting organizations.

CDA appreciates your consideration in partnering with us to assist in providing a healthier, more complete life for our clients.
