Colorado Discover Ability offers year-round recreational programs. Our programs take place mainly in the Grand Valley, on the beautiful West Slope of Colorado, in southwest Colorado and in eastern Utah. Other offerings include specialized trips beyond Colorado. | June | Camp Freedom-Racoon Ranch provides children with developmental delay, physical and cognitive disabilities, an opportunity to explore the outdoors with activities designed to facilitate success and wilderness enjoyment. |

| August | Camp Fredom-Eagles Landing provides children with physical disabilities and minimal cognitive deficits an outdoors camp experience with activities designed to build self-esteem and friendhips, while discovering their potential. |

| September | Annual Golf Tournament TEEING OFF FOR A CAUSE: Four Person Scramble. Have fun while raising money to support the ongoing work of Colorado Discover Ability and its adaptive winter and summer recreation programs for persons with dsabilities. |

| First Saturday in November | Wine Among the Vines Join Colorado Discover Ability for its annual Wine Among the Vines fundraiser to benefit its continued adaptive outdoor recreation programs. You will feast on delicious hors d'oeuvres, sample some of Two River Winery's fabulous vintages, and bid on fabulous silent auctions including artwork, jewlery, and trips. |

| February | Annual Ski Challenge Race Have fun while raising money for the athletes with Colorado Discover Ability at Powderhorn, Colorado. This event brings together disabled and non-disabled skiers, who race in teams over the resort's Giant Slalom course. To enter, skiers receive donations for Colorado Discover Ability from individuals and business sponsors. |

| March | Annual Chefs' Dinner A superb dinner served to over 300 participants at the Grand Junction Hotel. Proceeds benefit Colorado Discover Ability's summer and winter adaptive recreational programs for people with disabilities. Live and silent auctions for trips, luxury accommodations, art and other fabulous items. |
